If you are a private building owner seeking to retrofit a property within the five boroughs of New York City, we may be able to assist you to achieve your clean energy goals.
NYCEEC financing is available for the following types of activities:
• Installation of energy efficiency measures in existing buildings
• Inclusion of energy efficiency measures in building rehabs or tenant fit-outs
• Fuel conversions to clean fuels (which include No.2 oil, biodiesel, steam, or natural gas) that are part of an energy efficiency retrofit
• Building-sited combined heat and power systems that are part of an energy efficiency retrofit
NYCEEC will finance projects that are designed to save at least 15% energy, as demonstrated by a recent ASHRAE level II audit. We can help you determine whether your project meets these criteria.
Here is what you need to do
1. Contact NYCEEC to discuss the project
2. Complete Financing Application online or download pdf.
3. NYCEEC will conduct preliminary review and confirm eligibility for financing
4. Completion of due diligence, loan documentation and financial closing
5. Project construction, installation and commissioning
6. Post-installation monitoring and reporting
