The Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits today announced the winners of the 2014 Renewable Energy Power Awards, which recognize exceptional achievement in the development of renewable energy projects. Winners will be honored April 23 during a luncheon ceremony at the Novogradac Financing Renewable Energy Conference at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas.

The Roosevelt Landings Project won the award in the Financial Innovation category.  The project was developed by Urban Greenfit LLC.  The multifamily complex is owned by Urban American and Brookfield Real Estate Partners.

“On behalf of Novogradac & Company, I’d like to congratulate the winners of this year’s Renewable Energy Power Awards,” said Stephen Tracy, CPA, conference chairman and partner in Novogradac & Company LLP’s San Francisco office. “Their fine work and innovation illustrates dedication and skills of the respective companies and also highlights the importance of maintaining the effective renewable energy incentives that make these projects financially feasible.”

The Renewable Energy Power Awards are presented to development teams with effective and innovative renewable energy tax credit projects in terms of job creation, community impact and reducing energy footprint.
